I swear every time I decide to stop buying more plants and focus on other things there is always something to pull my attention. Last time I said I'd stop it lasted a few weeks and then I "had" to start increasing my VFT collection.

Added Megatraps(G17), Paradisia, Pink Venus, and Jaws.

Also several weeks ago I added Shogun Star, Justina Davis, and Fused Tooth(thanks to all the talk about how awesome it is).

Added Triton, Dentate Traps, Big Mouth, and an FTS Typical.

Sorry I missed this post.

So far it's an interesting plant. The long petiole, which from what I understand is actually the part that connects the trap to the base, is pretty cool. I'm hoping to see some interesting growths on the leaf base. Even if it doesn't get the textured base I think it's worth it for the unusual petioles.

I really wanted the Schuppenstiel I (if anyone has one I'd be willing to make a worthwhile trade for a small division) so this was kind of my concession prize.

All in all though it's still settling in so it wont show it's true glory for several more weeks. Maybe sooner, so far it seems to not mind to conditions I threw it in to.
