Sarracenia flava - Giant Red Tube x S. alata - Black Tube

This isnt my plant but one I found online. the original thread is here-http://www.insektenfang.com/ipforum/top ... lack-tube/. I'd love to get my hands on this clone one day.

The guy (ada on that thread) who bred that and gave it to Aidan Selwyn lives 2 miles from me.

Daniel youre very lucky if you happen to get it. I'm amazed that most of the best North American CPs arent readily available in North America lol. I love this clone and i'll get it one day.

Agreed! I don't really like Sarracenia all that much, but this one is pretty sexy!

Trust me, he's keeping it mainly to himself. I'm gonna see if £50 will work as leverage...

I've noticed the same thing. Someone needs to do something about that :)

Agreed. Let's all just start growing more Sarrs (and I suppose other NA CP's as well).

I'm going to tell my wife that it's not for me, it's a matter of national pride.

You can order some very nice stuff from Mike King. You dont need any permits or anything. Kind of like wistuba except he has sarrs.

Someone needs to start SarraceniaStore.com...or PitcherPlantStore.com to complement FlytrapStore.com :)

You know, just posting this here you'r probably already significantly increased the market value of this variant.

This is an extremely valuable plant anyway. I'd trade my Adrian Slack for it.
There's less than five of them, so as soon as this/if this is registered as a cultivar, people will be going crazy over it. Before the all important cultivar status it'll probably stay fairly unknown.
