I'll chip in for one in exchange for a rooted pulling!

Just wondering, does the frog still live in the pitchers or has it moved out?

I still find it hiding out in there a couple times each week, but I mostly see it in between the pots now.

Drosera Regia with a division! This will always be my favorite plant :D I find this plant snatching new bugs all the time, especially over the summer when they were getting in through the window AC. More detail in zoom.

Sarracenia purpurea (must be subspecies venosa) 'Big Fib'

I spotted this beauty at Midtown Carnivores in New York City and pounced on it. 'Big Fib' is the unofficial cultivar name of this plant. I love the dark red, almost purple, hoods that are in sharp contrast to the green pitcher bodies. I'm expecting nice things from it when the heat and humidity roll in next summer.

I took this photo last year and it took several days of preparation to perfect. Its a typical Vft.

Popping this back on the radar. Two more weeks to get your photo into the October contest. Remember, Matt is pitching in an Alien VFT for a prize. You know you want it, so share your picture and vote for your favorites by clicking the like button. And, yes, you can like your own picture but be sure to share the love with your other favorites.

IDK how to fix this, but there is no like button for us mobile users.

Can you try to access the website through your web browser instead of Taptalk? I go straight through Chrome.

24 hour sudden death. I will repost the tied pictures and they will be voted on.
