I agree. Just be aware that a lot of the plants offered for sale brag about being from a warm, tropical, Hawaiian swamp. You'll need the non-Hawaiian ones.

Awesome just found intermedia and anglica where I purchased by B52. Cheap to £6 each. :D maybe I'll just get 2 drosera and 2 pings instead of one of each. Oh my life what have I started.

I wish you were in the US. I could trade you an intermedia for a VFT.

Yes evenwind I have just seen it. It's
a lovely plant also and it states all three of these as native so I'm guessing they will be fine. Now I feel I need all three. Aaaagghhhh

I know panman its quite the trip from U.S to UK. Not to mention the legalities of it. I was so lucky to find myself FTS purple ambush from Germany. I'd love to bring some FTS plants to the UK.

Evenwind a problem shared is a problem halved lol you knew this would happen now I share your burden. Luckily for now butterworts are out of stock. Gives my pocket time to recover.

And, y'know, when you've finally got your setup running smoothly and all your plants sleeping away the winter, and your growing space is dark and lonely, there's a whole bunch of winter-growing sundews available to keep you company... Just sayin'.

Man I also wish you lived in the United States. I have tons of those smaller ping varieties like Ehlersiae and Esseriana. Check out pinguicula pirouette too, thats a really nice complex hybrid. It's one of my better looking ones.

Thanks apollyon I wish I lived in the US too. You never know maybe one day if they'd let me lol. Im guessing I would need a permit to send live plants to the US and vice versa. Im sure it's pretty expensive too. It gives that extra sense of community being able to share tangible objects like plants with each other but atleast we can share words and knowledge from across the pond. :D even that's pretty amazing when you think about it.

Just something to keep in mind: If ChefDean gets the foreign delivery for the seedbank working, in another month of so you'll be eligible for free(-ish) temperate Drosera intermedia seeds. Be a little late for your fungus gnat problem, tho.
