I am currently out of town and just heard that my area lost power a couple of days ago and my grow lights never came back on. I'm not sure if the timer is just offset now (the person that checks our house only comes by at certain times) or if it is completely off, but I'm just wondering that since I'm coming back in four days, could the plants survive for that time without any light? They are in a basement room, so it is completely dark when the lights are off.

They will be fine. They go without light for weeks sometimes in the mail with no problems.

Just one more assurance they'll be fine - I had a hamata spend 14 days in a box courtesy USPS. It was rocky there for a few weeks, but it's finally pitchering again, and the growth point had actually started to go black before I decided to bag it, so a few days or a week shouldn't be anywhere near that dramatic.

Happy growing,
