So I needed a hobby. Since retiring from the military and never really having a hobby, I decided to give this a shot. I ordered a “bundle” of sundews, I think it came with five. I’m trying out different mediums that I found here in the Denver area as far as some are in sphagnum moss and some are in nutrient free soil with perlite. So we shall see how things go.

Welcome to the Forums! If you're not sure which sundew species you have, a pic should let us ID them. Different species can have very different growing requirements...

Welcome to the forums!

If you have any interest in starting your very own flytrap "herd", I have a bunch for sale at a low price. I'll throw in any Drosera intermedia sundews from those pots for free. You can check out my feedback here.

I second @MikeB's reply. He has very high quality plants for the lowest prices, and he almost always adds an entire village of freebies.

Welcome to the forum, and thank you for your service!

I'll second the flytraps and free drosera from @MikeB, I have several hundred from him now, and they do not disappoint. Mostly typicals, but he is starting to dig into some of his cultivars. Last batch had some Akai Ryu and B52's. Excellent individual to deal with.
