This is why you never suspect a leaf pull never strikes even if the leaf looks dead....

I was gonna throw it out and here you go. The leaf looks totally dead. New root growth forming nice and healthy.

No I put this in NZ sphagnum, it was doing good for a few weeks then I put it on my normal mixture of peat/sand didn't see any root then. After another few weeks it was full brown and dead so I was gonna throw it out and found it was actually rooting. Just now put it in some superthrive soak and I'll let it sit for 24hours then I'll do a quick trichoderma soak for 10mins. Finally I'll dip it in Clonex and replace back in the 1:1 mix.
