recently got a nepenthes TC(that oddly didn't mold when I took the cover off, also had air holes for some reason.) The plant is making pitchers but they don't grow to full size, and I can't see a pitcher hole anywhere. any suggestions? the plant is also making a small pitcher plant at the base of the plant, maybe basil shoot? I always though those were further away on the plant. the pitchers on that plant are way larger (in comparison to the leaf) and what should I do with it. the plant also started making roots .

I’m assuming the pitcher is coming from a dormant node, a type of basal shoot.

thanks! I wasn't sure since I didn't think that small of a plant would try and make basil shoots, according to the seller it's only a year old, now it's a bit over a year old.
