Mine carry a lot of pitchers. But they are under LED panels in an indoor greenhouse. So high humidity

No, I don’t own Ventrata. Just pure ventricosa. Mine came from the raffle at the International Carnivorous Plant Society conference 2018 August in Santa Rosa, CA.

Most of mine are from online nurseries that I trust. The only Lowe’s plant I have is my VFT. I got a Sarr and a Ping from my local Nursery that once in a while carries CPs and only a few hardy types.

I have about 65 Nepenthes, I’m in my local and the international club...so yeah, I’m addicted

The plant will most likely activate a dormant node and it will be okay. The growth point may be okay depending on how bad it was hurt. Did you accidentally snap it or did a bug or disease kill it?

So, you're essentially telling us that you're stealing the plants from Lowes by taking back dead grass and claiming the plant you bought died? You don't see anything wrong with that practice? Do you even know the basics of right and wrong?
Regardless of the fact that Lowes is big enough to absorb the loss, you're still a thief by your actions.
