I ordered a Nepenthes x St. Gaya from Carnivorous Plant Nursery that shipped on Dec. 10th w/ a 96 hour heat pack. Because of post office delays, my plant has been stuck, circling the Baltimore, MD metro area (see screenshot). I live in MN.

What are the chances my plant will arrive dead (I'm guessing pretty good)? I saw a similar post by someone with a lowland hybrid. Any advice for possibly rehabbing it once it finally arrives (if ever)?

I empathize with this. My plant was sent from CPN on the 8th and just updated 2 days ago. Still in Maryland. I'm betting every plant sent by this guy was locked up. The way Baltimore handled their mail was atrocious. Hard to say what state the plant will be in. I already e-mailed the guy and I'm sure we're not the only ones. I hope yours pans out.

Glad to know I'm not alone! I recently ordered some house plants from a different shop. They only took 4-5 days, but the heat pack didn't activate and none of the plants made it. I'm not expecting the nepenthes to make it either.

Finally came today after almost a month. Looks pretty dead to me. Any hope of saving?

Sadly that looks like a goner. Contact the supplier and see what can be done. You could plant it but I think it's a done deal.
