Hello everyone,

I have received N. Jamban to my Highland terrarium last week, unfortunately some leaves started to yellow. I use only quality destiled water, plant is not standing in the water, it is potted in mix of live and dry sphagnum.

Humidity: 70-80%
Day temperatures are about 22 degrees celsius (72 °F) and night temperatures around 16 °C (60 °F)

Any suggestions, how can i stop this? Can it be because it is acclimatizing? This is not my first highland nepenthes, but it is the only one, which is causing problems.

Probably just acclimating.

im not a nepenthes expert but since Jamban's origin is from my island, i can tell you that the temperature here is about 30C day and 23C night . also the local nep grower like to use mixes of perlite and cocopeat. myb because coconut is in abundance here.

also Jamban literally means toilet bowl in my language it does look like toilet bowl eh.

Haha, all these informations are new for me, thank you for explanation, nice to meet someone, who has these plants literally at home In my country there you can only rarely find Drosera rotundifolia.

Also info about temperatures is interesting, everywhere they say that it needs as low temperatures as possible.
