Nepenthes cuttings blooming

I took some cuttings in the fall to sell when things warm back up. This ventricosa red is blooming before its 1st pitcher.

Cuttings are as mature as the plant you take it from, so you might get a flower from a relatively small plant.

I don't know if that's normal or not for the time of year. But, we've got fig trees leafing out big time, buds on other fruiting trees, birds building nests....and it's not March, yet.

2 more blooms this week, I picked up a cutting of ventricosa (K) female, hope the blooms line up next year.

I just reviewed this thread and was reminded about cuttings being as mature as the donor plant. The blooming is a great example of that!
On a more sober note, the fig tree that I mentioned was putting out leaves the latter part of February…the cold snap that hit us a bit later killed it graveyard dead.
