Need help with my ping.

I just got a Pinguicula primuliflora that took 5 days to arrive. It looked like this when it arrived.

This is a pic two days later and its new growth point is turning black and the previous one is green but has a brown tip. It is currently in a plastic bag with no direct sunlight. What do I do?

Also, is this little spike a plantlet?
