Just bought a sundew that looks like the ones on the left side of the picture.
The right are labelled aliciae, are the left ones the same? Looks a little different.

Thank you for helping in advance!

You might have a spatulata or maybe a different version of alicae.

A picture of your plant would help. Sometimes you may think they look similar but a trained eye (not mine) might notice subtle differences that will help with the identification.

I'm not a sundew guy, but it kinda looks like a Tokaiensis.

The old leaves near the base of the plant look like D. aliciae.
But that plant has been somewhat light deprived for a while, so it's hard to tell for sure.
Leaves subjected to lower light will lose their characteristic shapes.
Give it full sun (after acclimation) or adequate indoor lighting for a few months and you should be in a better position to ID it.
Just my 02¢ worth.
Good growing,
Mike

I'd definitely trust him ^^^^ more than my guess, he's actually 23% sundew. Weird, I know!

My guess is burmannii. The snap tentacles on burmannii are much longer than aliciae (like the one in your pic) and most burmannii tend to be light green in color, under the same lighting that makes aliciae turn pink.

I searched the brand online and attempted to translate the names.

The conclusion is that it is a burmannii.
But 2 inches is really large for them.

Thanks for all the help !

Agree with Shadowtski, it would be hard to guess definitively as it stands. I'm leaning towards burmannii myself but the characteristics just seem kinda off the way it is. Exposing it to better conditions will give you a much better idea of what you're looking at with its new growth.
