Came across a Nepenthes for sale from
Hampshire carnivorous situated in the uk

What do there hope to achieve by naming a plant after some TV personality

the hybrid was made by Rob cantley

Of borneo exotics

( So Hampshire carnivorous did not make the hybrid )

So their import it to there nursery

spice it up and name it after some tv personality

Comedian Bill Bailey has had a plant named after him, in recognition of his work in the field of conservation.

He posed with the 'Nepenthes x Bill Bailey', a Borneo Exotics hybrid, at the Chelsea Flower Show."

It was named by Rob, Matthew at HCP just sells it as do other suppliers!
