It’s been a hot minute since I’ve posted here. Hello everyone, and hi Matt.

Anyway, my Jamban came in yesterday! It’s tiny, but mighty. It looks great.

I’m still very much into growing CPs. Here’s a pot of VFTs I have outside:

I don’t think any of them are dormant; it’s been a relatively warm winter here in San Diego. I hope they make it through the hot summer days without down time. :?

Thanks for reading, and see you around the forums.

Welcome back. Love the Nep. It's funny how all Neps seem to start out the same and over time develop extremely different pitchers.

Where do you grow it? I only ask because I'm getting one too and I'm in Orange County..

I grow it on a shelf, under a full-spectrum, 65-watt LED light. I use a diffuser to increase the humidity around the plant, and use an ice pack at night to cool down the temperature. The temps during the photoperiod is about 75°, and night time low drops to about 64°, using the ice pack method. I’ve only had it for about a week, so I can’t tell you if my setup is working out yet.

For the most part, I would first worry about the light intensity your Jamban receives daily, then handle the other environmental issues second.

Thanks for the reply, how do you have yr diffuser setup? I didn't know these increase humidity.. Do you think a 110V 3.5W Hidoli LED work for just one small jamban? It has 10 white LED and 2 blue LED in a strip. I think its 0.2W per LED. Meant to clip onto a fish tank. I also have one 14W Blue Max 5500K Daylight fluorescent bulb if this would work better. The plant will be in a 12"x12"x12" tank.

Hi! Sorry for the super late reply. I use a diffuser that's for essential oils to increase humidity, minus the oil, of course. Just search for diffuser on Amazon, and any of the listed will work. As far as the lighting situation, I would opt for the higher wattage fluorescent bulb. Your nep will appreciate the higher light output for sure!

Ended up getting a Sunblaster 26W 6400K CFL. The plant seems to be doing okay because i've noticed growth from the growth point but on one of the leaves it started to get a little brown reddish on the edge of the leaf and now looks like it may go black.

It’s been almost 3 months, and my Jamban is looking more like a Jamban. 12-hour photoperiod, under a 65-watt LED light. The plant gets misted twice a day.
