Mystery Hybrid Sarracenia

It looks a bit like a cultivar I saw labeled "Golden Eagle" but I have only seen one picture with that label and ICPS doesn't have it listed. I bought it as an unlabeled rhyzome. It is quite a spectacular plant. My guess is that it is something along the lines of ([rubra x rosea] x leucophylla) x rubra or alata. Not really sure, so it's just a stab in the dark.

The lid reminds me of a frilled lizard

Whatever it is, it's beautiful! I can definitely see some purp/rosea genes in it. Did you get the rhizomes from CC, SNW, or somewhere else?

Looks a bit like sarracenia "Leo Song". Parentage is Sarracenia pupurea subsp. venosa and S. oreophila.

Could be one of the parents. This one is much taller, at around 14".

Looks to me like a catesbaei cross alata. So (flava x purp/rosea) x alata.

I considered that was a possibility but the morphology of the hood looks like it's got leucophylla in it to me, especially when it is opening. I think looking into that is when I found the cultivar labeled "Golden Eagle"

Does it make phyllodia? What are the rhizomes looking like. Send pics!
