Mine are outside in all kinds of weather. Once it stops raining, if there is too much water in the trays, I just dump it out. They don't mind being waterlogged for a day or two. Some don't mind at all. My flavas sit in a couple of inches of water all of the time. The same goes for psittancia. Flytraps only get into a problem if the conditions are constantly soggy.

Thanks everyone for the advice. It was only about 5 days outside before I started noticing growth. The one pitcher that is developing has been slow because we've had a good chunk of cloudy days in the past weeks, but it's red and it's definitely a pitcher, not a stress leaf. :)
