My Nepenthes ampullaria!

Hey friends, let me introduce some of my Nepenthes ampullaria, grown in Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia. Surabaya is a lowland city, max. 50 m... here can be 27-35 celcius degree at the afternoon, and 25-29 degree at night. The media i used is styrofoam + spaghnum moss topping. I water them as much as I can with rainwater. Hope u enjoy my collections!

Really nice plants! Unfortunately, my two amps just dried out! I'm still not sure how it happened, but my three small Nepths dried out. I was able to save one, but the amps are gone! D: Yours look great! Congrats.

@CPGrower: how is the condition of the plants when u bought them? In my experience, amps need strong light + intense watering, but they can live on strong shade, with drier environment

thats really true
i have my green speckled amps under direct sun now and they're doin great though not at first.

Amazing!! The colours are brilliant! I really love how the lowlanders like N. rafflesiana and N. ampullaria have such great variation!

yeah. amps really love strong light, but it can be a serious problem if u can't provide great watering and humidity too... strong shade and low watering is OK but can't be better than strong light + intense watering :p

If I have time, I'll post my rafflesiana too. Some of them reach 25 cm in pitcher size
