The cephalotus and petiolaris will grow better if not in the same pot. Cephs prefer it cooler while the petiolaris like to be warm year round, and a constant hot temperature will stress a ceph.

They’re not permanently like that. I just have them in there because they’re all new and will be split up later on. I just prefer to have my new plants together until they’re less transplant-shocked. They will then be seperated. The ceph is actually just out of 100% humidity and was just deflasked about 2 months ago. It has a very, very weak root system and I just want to keeps it humid until it’s not as fragile as a just-our-of-tc plant is normally. I promise you, I know what I’m doing. I was tempted to name this post “my quarantine bowl” but thought that “my jealousy bowl” would be a nicer title.
