My Crimson Sawtooth just grew its two largest traps yet.

They're just over a half inch long, maybe 5/8.

Looking good Mia! Hopefully one of those traps will catch something. I've noticed a definitely correlation in the next trap being much larger if a currently open trap catches something.

It is a great looking plant and It is VERY unlikely that any plants grown from seed would have the same characteristics as this particular clone. The only reliable way to get an identical plant is by means of vegatative reproduction (division / cuttings / tissue culture). Unfortunately most Dionaea do not come true from seed.

when it says "FTS" in front of the cultivar name, it's an acronym for "Fly Trap Store"
