first and foremost it has been a while since I've been on this site! So greetings to anyone and everyone that remembers me, a lot has been going on. Firstly I would like to troubleshoot my Drosera intermedia. it has become less and less vibrant throughout the past days in weeks. I don't recall if it is a tropical or not, is this what dormancy looks like? Nothing has changed with its conditions. the next picture is of a flower start mind you this is the second one and the first one around to the point where it comes up from the center of the plant so I cut it off in this one I decided to cut off because it is having the same flowering issue was the first one it seems like just before it opens or wants to open it dies off at the bus. was I doing something wrong? The next series of pictures is of my pinguecula hybrid. She has done marvelous but once again the same issue persists on with the flower stocks since it started flowering I will have to guess and say there has been roughly 15 216 stocks since the beginning which started 3 months ago roughly I've hadn't seen issues with the pollen. I have done several test whether it be with the first day of the flower opening, for 2 Days Inn, or 5 days, and even a week and the status of the pound is still evidently non existent here's a picture of it with the flap up as you can tell it's only yellow to a tent never has it turned completely dark yellow and solidified in a pollinated state. What do you think is wrong with that? Leslie is just a couple of pictures of what else I have going on. I have various pitcher plant growing from seed as well as a tiny culture Spagna most that I ever in return, made an army and I find it interesting media to start my seed sowing with as it naturally is an antibiotic medium in which in turn helps the seeds to survive those hibiscus sprouts or my hybrid I've made when they flower and 6 to 12 months that'll be the first time those colors have ever been on this planet.
my apologies, I've just realized that the pictures are completely out of order sorry. And I left one out the flowers. That are going straight up are ones that are still attached to my other girls Spathulata I believe the special haha. as you notice this one is completely flat before it is opened what do you think the issue is?

I would say no as to whether the intermedia is going dormant. Doesn't look like a hibernacula at all. Plant looks kind of sick. I would test the soil or maybe repot it. Although it could just be exhausted from flowering (if it is one of the ones flowering). If you see a dewy leaf I would feed it, but don't feed it if it doesn't have any dew. I don't see any dew in the picture. How is the humidity?

Hidity is. Well I don't necessarily have a meter to give you a numerical answer. but it hasn't changed I can say that much. Changes that have been made or could be considered changes are that I did water it just because to be completely honest so that might be an issue and/or the fact that I put it in the other dome of my plants and there aren't nearly as many in that one than the previous dome.but I will replanted as soon as I get home and will take pictures of the roots and we'll go from there

It looks pretty wet, which for intermedia shouldn't be a problem at all. I don't think they can be over-watered. Mine sit in water all the time.

Sorry I didn't catch this sooner Bhart! Did we establish what species or hybrid of Mexican pinguicula yours is? Some of them simply don't produce pollen, apparently. Do you have a photo of the plant itself that I can take a peek at?

The roots look really good! I'm going to guess (and this is totally a guess) that if you have them in a "dome" you might be smothering them. Having plants in a terrarium is OK for some species if you're careful, but you can't let the heat build up. I put some of my capensis in a little 2.5gal fish tank under a new light, thinking it would help retain humidity, and ended up nearly frying the taller one because of the heat getting trapped at the top.

I would suggest not putting the plants under anything that's going to hinder air flow. I don't know this for sure, but it seems like in my experience, plants appreciate some air exchange and actually don't like it to be too humid.

Keep in mind I have very limited experience, pretty much just D. capensis, spathulata and other easy ones like that.

Edit: Also, RINSE YOUR MEDIA WELL!! Even if you forgot to when you just repotted, flush that stuff out really well by top watering a few times and discarding the water. The media I get has so much fine muck in it that I lose about 1/3 of the volume when I rinse it, but the results speak for themselves
