I absolutely love pinguicula... Best bang for the buck. Buy one plants and the possibility is endless for how many you can grow. Until you run out of space I guess
Here are just a few leaf pulls I started a couple of weeks ago :D

I’m definitely going to start adding pings to my collection. Any advice on some easier ones?
Thanks. Jean

The Mexican pings are pretty easy to grow.
pinguicula cyclosecta and P. Florian are a couple that are beautiful , easy to grow and propagate.

Certainly give Mexican pings a try. In addition to those hollyhock mentioned I'd recommend P. agnata (and it's hybrids) as well as P. emarginata and P. ehlersiae.

Wow those are really pretty plants. Might be the next species I'll try.

I just yank the leaves out with tweezers and lay them on top of the medium. A friend of mine told me you can lay them on dry vermiculite and that works for him. Maybe someone else that has better technique can answer because I think I have just been lucky. :D

I do the same (well, ok, I don't always use a tweezers  ). The only thing I might add is if the leaf is curled and maybe stiff, be sure the torn end is in contact with the medium - I usually bury the tip a 1/8" or so to be sure it stays in contact.

Mine are around a foot from my lights. But it's all going to depend on your setup. My thinking is if the mother plant is happy in a particular set of conditions, then the pulling is going to be, too.
