Ahem,

Haven't posted here on a long time. Well i am now married and have a kid on the way and moved right across the country to the East coast to Nova Scotia. Now i am just curious onto what sarracenia and sundew plant species i can leave outside all year here? I know we have sarrracenia purpurea here and some d.rotundifolia in the wild. Also do all sarracenia species require dormancy?? If purpurea can live here can s flava, rubra, minor and. D capillaris? If so does it matter which forms? eg.
(Can a Florida S.Flava survive a NC winter?) Also what ph should the soil be?

All sarracenia should be able to, and vfts if you protect them from super cold freezes. The soild should be acidic, with lfs, peat, and or sand.
