I was wondering how to get moss to grow in minibogs. I have a 4" pot of VFTs that if full of moss, if i just transplant the whole thing will it creep across the rest of my planter?

Yes it most likely will, I used to like the look of moss in my pots, but it can get annoying. Just a warning.

When you pull up the moss it will also take up the top layer of compost, I think a few small flakes look good. But anymore get picked out as I cant see how much water my plant needs
