I have successfully planted moss last year and this year it started growing ferociously! Really took off, despite hot weather we've had.
Is it possible to ID the moss I have? Does any of you carnivore moss gurus ( ) know if there are more than one moss varieties inside? I kept it outside last winter and it froze regularly, I hope that won't harm it if it's one of New Zealand kind of moss.

That is sphagnum moss but there’s no telling what species.

I know it's sphagnum. I just thought I'd ask if it's possible to ID it. It doesn't matter really. It grows quite nicely and it looks really good when it colors up orange-red in bright light. I guess I'll be able to start using it next year. At least if it grows with the same speed. :)
