Here are a few more. The newest trap is slightly bigger than the previous one I posted pics of - just over 1 and a quarter inches, one and a half if you count the teeth. There's a comparison in one of the pics that shows the biggest "old" trap (from when I bought it) compared to how the traps look now. I'm impressed with how well fluorescent lights can work.

It's doing good things for my N Ventricosa as well.

What kind of lights are you using? My N. Ventricosa has yet to produce new growth or a pitcher after acclimating for nearly 4 weeks under my light, but I've had similar success as you have with the fly traps.

Your plants are looking great.

I'm using one of these - http://www.farmtek.com/farm/supplies/pr ... 05071.html

Which comes with one of these: http://www.farmtek.com/farm/supplies/pr ... 03999.html

My Ventricosa is about 5-6" below the light itself. I might add some 2mm mylar that I have in the basement, which would probably increase my growing area a bit.

It's a death cube VFT (a typical) from Lowe's I got in early September. I can't believe it looks like that either.

You plant has very big guard hairs wonderful Venus Fly Trap that you saved. How long do you keep you light on each day.
