This is an off the wall question so don't make fun of me. Can you cross pollinate two carnivorous plants together. For instance, can you cross pollinate a venus fly trap with a sundew? If this is impossible... I would like to know your dream plant. Can pollinate with non-carnivorous plants.

Hi Crispy, Unfortunatly the answer is no, you can not cross pollinate two different species of carnivorous plants. This would be like trying to cross a dog with a cat. If I could mix two plants togeather, I would mix N. rajah with some thing like D. "Red Dragon" and have a Napenthese with bright red leaves and pitchers with snapping mouths on them.
Hope this helps, Pat :D

I would cross a Wacky trap and a Sundew making lots of mouths on the Sundew.

I would mix a Rose with Dragon plant so it would "bleed red" and mix that with a Sundew so it gets that sparkle.
