i've been wanting to use TC to get loads of plants for a while but i dont have a pressure cooker but i do have a microwave i was wondering what a decent time is for sterylizing water and medium? anyone know?

just telling what i know.my friend teach me this but he was talking about homemade media for orchids and Nepenthes and you guys are discussing using MS etc etc.ops sry on the nonesenses.this is what he teach me about sterilizing.yes you can use microwave


ways:
clean the jars first.then you heat the media up a bit and pour it into the jars.

close the jar tight but not too tight.just leave a tiny hole and microwave it for 20mins.as soon as the timer is off,quickly close the jar tightly and leave it in a room for 10days to see any mould or contaminations.
you can also sterilize the water this way.

just writing what i know.lets w8 for Pros to answer first to be safe.\
