Greetings everyone. I have a pair of 4ft sunblaster's t5's with reflectors that can produce up to 5k Lumen each. I have 7 mexican butterworts of different species. My question is how low can I lower them without burning them and how long should I have the lights on them. I don't want to
Murder these guys. I was thinking of adding another 4ft t5 sunblaster. would that be overkill?

I have never made an effort to put my butterworts under grow lights, as they do just fine sitting by the window. I would start with the lights a good distance away from them, then maybe lower an inch per week to make sure it doesn't burn them. I have no idea what their limit is, I just know after a few weeks outside in full sun mine started to deteriorate.
