Has anyone ever used Maxsea 14-18-14. Looking on there website said it was a fertilizer for acid loving plants (http://maxsea-plant-food.com/products.html).

Oh and what dosage would be sufficent, thanks in advance! :D

I've never used it, but as long as your plant is potted in sphagnum or peat, the soil is going to be acidic anyway. And what you're looking for when fertilizing carnivorous plants is a high N value (the first number of the three). The P and K don't seem to matter much from what I've read. So I'd likely not bother with the 14-18-14....

i use it regularly. its great stuff. i use 1/2 tsp per gal for most things from fertilizing little sprouts under florecent lighting to sarrecenia, nepenthes and heliamphora. I mainly use it on my indoor and terrarium plants that dont get too many insects on their own.
