Its been a while since i last vivisted these forums, but ive had a little accident this summer and was hoping someone here would be able to help me out.

i have been keeping all three drosera's native to my country (Netherlands) for quite a few years, D. intermedia, D. rotundifolia and D. anglica. but this summer we've had a couple of weeks with sometimes temperatures rising above 40°C or 104°F. While this was no problem when providing enough water, i came home one day to find all of my plants dried out and dead on the ground, probably caused by some birds looking for food between the mosses.

i was able to save a couple D. rotundifolia which got buried under some soil but i lost all of my D. intermedia and D. Anglica.

now i was hoping if there is someone with some spare D. anglica seeds or maybe some dormant buds for sale?

I'm sorry you lost your plants. There are intermedia and rotundifolia seeds in the seedbank so you could make a request there. Read the thread on international orders.

I've been looking for temperate anglica as well but it seems to be very scarce. The seedbank has the Hawaiian version but that probably isn't as cold tolerant.

The Hawaiian version probably wouldnt be able to surive my winter temperatures. But i managed to order some seeds from a seller in Hungary (lets hope its not a scam :? ). and if all goes well i might one day be able to supply the seed bank with some seeds :D
