Hey everyone. New to the forums. Not new to CPs or plants in general.

Just seeing if anyone has rosette type sundew (Specifically Drosera aliciae, already have some capensis seeds, but any rosette type would work) seeds or very small plants for sale or trade (I don’t have much at this time in the way of CPs but cacti and such available).

Looking mainly for my classroom to learn and grow sundews instead of the usual plants. And my sundews are a big hit.

Thank you all.

Thank you all for the responses.

Sent a few PMs.

I saw the Seedbank. Still new and not enough posts yet. Didn’t want to just spam random posts just to post and get get the credit.

Thank you again for the quick responses.

Hoping the students dig in and get hooked.

I sent you some seeds that are going out in today's mail.
Drosera aliciae
Drosera burmannii "Humpty Doo, Australia"
Drosera spatulata
Here's a link to the Origami envelopes so you can open them without destruction or losing the seeds:
https://www.carnivorousplants.org/about/store/envelope
Be careful when opening, seeds are tiny like dust motes.
Don't sneeze!
You need at least a 10X magnifying glass to see the seeds clearly.
Here's a neat page with Drosera seed microphotos, click on species name to see photo. Backdrop is a 1mm grid.

Keep us posted with progress updates from time to time.

Good growing,
Mike

Thank you all for the replies!

Several folks have already sent seeds my way and I believe that I should be all set for now.

I will post some updates as we go along.

Also found a bunch of VFTs and some pitcher plants and a single Cape Sundew at Lowe’s today. Each was only $1 ! So those new additions and the seeds will be heading to class at the start of the New Year (weather permitting for the plants of course).

Thanks again for all of the responses and for those sending seeds!
