As far as I know there is no variety of adelae that stays all green. Mine are green but I assume that if I had them under higher light they would turn red

I have regular Drosera adelae from Predatory Plants. It shows no inclination to turn red. I also have Drosera adelae "Giant from California Carnivores". It turns very red, almost maroon. They sit side by side. I don't have an extra plant but I could cut off a leaf, wrap it in a wet paper towel in a Ziploc baggie and send it to you if you'd like. Sort of a thank you for your seed giveaways.

Good growing,
Mike

I still have two 4" pots left each filled with regular adelae I'm trying to give away through sale or trade. Haven't heard of any "green" variety though.

Okay I guess I have a whole pot of D.Adelae. Mine has never been even slightly green it's like shadowtski mentioned almost maroon. I bought mine from Natch Greyes I will have to find out which type that I grow.
Yet I see others have a huge clump that's totally green...Like Tommyr's plants.. This is what I meant.. :D And am hoping to find..

There is no green variety. With good lighting they all turn red. If you want them green the put them under less light.

Okay thanks for that great information... I made a trade for some that are greener than mine. I will grow them side by side and see what happens. The plant I have was in very poor lighting all winter and remained very red never turned green... :P of course most people probably prefer the more colorful plants..
