I had live moss around my plants for a while and i got rid of it, it looked great but i had to keep the VFTs far too wet to keep the moss green.

I expect if the moss was around the plants in a bog garden it may be ok but i didnt get on with it around plants in pots.

Try it. The worst that could happen is it dies.

I had a moss growing round my sundew, it really set it back and made me water it way more! No point other than decoration.

I'm thinking about collecting some smooth rocks to go in my pot for decor and because it will keep the LFS pushed down.

Frankly i think the live sphagnum is very attractive in and of itself. i ordered some, which should arrive today, just to cultivate it by itself. i may use it to adorn my CP's at some point, but i want a nice lush bed of emerald green moss.
