Hi i noticed about 5days ago that my U. sandersonii was looking not so good I was away for 4 days and when i have come home the hole plant is now dry looking the soil is still wet and it sits on my window sill with the rest of my plants they are all fine apart from this one and my cobra. (placed question about cobra to)

Any ideas what could be wrong?

They'll be fine, it looks like they were exposed on strong sunlight when you were away ans the soil was a bit dry. Give them a plenty of water and they'll recover nicely.

Hmmm. What moof said is right...your sandersonii looks to be missing almost all of its ground cover (http://www.cascadecarnivores.com/galler ... rsonii.jpg); are you keeping the soil very wet? I kept my sandersonii in a deep, deep water tray so that the water line was only about an inch below the surface of the soil itself, and it thriiiiiiiiived.

They live in shady areas so if you're using fluorescent lights, you should be fine. However if they're in sunlight, you may want to shade them a bit.

I found this article helpful when I was troubleshooting my sandersonii: http://www.sarracenia.com/pubs/sand.html

Thankyou both for your help. Yeah I noticed the leaves were drying up and I thought the water may be to wet I will try the deep tray method. I keep it on the window sill but it's at a part it's in the shade most of the time.
Thanks for the great links to :)

What soil mix and type of water are you using?

The pot looks plastic or ceramic - it's not ceramic is it?
