Little baby seeds. When to change container?

I have seeds sprouting in small closed containers ,
about 2 sprouting seeds per container filled with cotton and water
They are now about 2-3 mm long and no leafs yet.
When should I "replant " these babies!
I'm afraid they will catch on the cotton too much when they will grow older..

Any ideas / suggestions :) ?

Thanks in advance guys :)
Will post some pics of them soon so you will have a look:)

I germinated my little seedlings in a 50% peat moss/ 50% quartz sand blend, with a thin layer of sand on the top. (Mainly just so that the seeds would be easier to spot...) Well, once they began germinating, I would occasionally (and very gently) pick them up and move them to a better location, so that they each had plenty of room to grow. It didn't seem to affect them at all, and they just kept on growing. I just made sure to keep their tiny little roots slightly covered up. Eventually, you would have to move them anyways. So you might as well do it before they grow even more, and their roots grow any further into the cotton. There shouldn't be any problems with moving them once they've germinated.

EDIT: I just thought I'd throw in a couple of pics that I had taken back when I was moving my seedlings. I was a little hesitant about holding this one to take a pic of it, thinking that I might stress him out. But it didn't seem to bother this little seedling in the slightest bit, once I placed him back into his new spot.

Quickly remove the cotton if you cannot repot at the moment, just fill the container with water without the cotton, or you'll have a hard time later removing the cotton later.

Trust me ;)

I bought a 50lb bag of Quikrete pool filter sand from Home Depot for $6.00. That was more than I needed, but it was cheap, so at least I'll have more than plenty for later on. Just make sure that it's quartz sand that you get when you do find some.

I cannot find sand labeled as just silica sand in my area as well, but as tomeboi said, pure silica sand can also be commonly sold as pool filter sand (which is what I get).

Yea.. But it is very fine sand.
I was at McDermid today (live in Winnipeg)
They have fine silica for pools
And no body caries the perlite and peat moss yet..
So I'm kinda in a pickle :)

Fine silica sand wont provide much aeration unless you use increase the ratio of sand in a mixture. You could order premixed medium for carnivorous plants online if nothing is available to you locally.

thats strange you can't find peat moss...I bought mine off amazon and it says "canadian spaghnum peat moss" on the package. now quartz sand in panama is about impossible to fine. :)
Cute seedlings, they look a little bigger than mine.
