leuco's eyes too big for its stomach

hello all,
i'm sure this has been posted but i can't seem to find it anywhere. my two tarnok plants have been attracting a lot of attention from wasps lately; unfortunately they're young plants and the pitchers aren't big enough for wasps :( the wasps get stuck and cause the pitchers to rot; is there any way to prevent this (other than growing them inside, which isn't an option at the moment) ?

also--since i am on the subject of pitchers... i can't seem to get rid of this mold inside my purpurea :| suggestions ?

Yes, there is an easy way to prevent this. Stick cotton balls in the pitchers' mouths.

The mold...don't worry about it ;)

Hi yes , they do attract unwanteds sometimes, other way is to build a small wood frame and put fly wire as the cover or shade cloth this works well too

just a bit more on what john (snapperhead) was saying..

i had actually purchased 2 lengths of wooden dowell, and you will find that the hard plastic elbows, T pieces etc for backyard irrigation/drippers should fit the dowell quite firm.

together you can make a frame and throw a bit of shadecloth over it.
