I just ordered Ladies-in-Waiting,and Appalachian Spring. I would like to know if I can plant them in pots bought at Walmart --the hard plastic/composition type?

Hi,

What is the size of the pot, if it is 6inch or bigger is excellent, any container that is plastic that is white or black or any other color that is not transparent should be excellent for the sarras, additionally container is important, but most important is what you put as the media. Sarras seem to appreciate more water than VFT's, maybe more peat than silica and perlite. 60% peat 40% silica or 60% peat 20% silica and 20% perlite

Good luck!
