I've noticed a few times that I fill a request, send it out, and the next day a new envelope arrives from that same member for their next request. That is fine if you want to continue to do so, but I'll let you in on a little secret.
Requests are by calendar month. This means you can request near the end of one month, and again at the beginning of the next month. If you time it right, about a week apart, you can send one envelope for two requests, saving yourself a couple of stamps.

I've received a few PM's regarding this, so I'm bumping and highlighting this part.
Just don't do it too early before the end of the month, you have two weeks to get a request sent.
