FlytrapCare Carnivorous Plant Forums

One of my favorite ways of seeing carnivorous plants displayed is in a bog garden. These can be extravagant landscaping features or a simple container displaying multiple plants. This month, we want to see your bogs. The usual rules apply.
1. You must have taken the picture yourself
2. You can only submit one picture for this contest
3. Pictures shared in previous contests are not eligible
4. The winner will be the photo with the highest number of thumbs up votes
5. This contest is open internationally, although there will be an alternate prize for international winners

And what is our prize this month? @Matt and Leah from The Flytrap Store are providing a Big Mouth Flytrap.


Here is the description of this cultivar from the Flytrap Store website:
The Big Mouth Venus Flytrap is prized for its large traps, deep color and neat growth habit. Unlike most Venus Flytraps that grow taller and thinner during the summer and can look a little "leggy" and unkempt, Big Mouth's leaves grow prostrate in a neat rosette close to the ground year round.

So let's see your bog gardens. Big or small, we want to see them all!

I am not sure it counts as a bog, but here is a 8in pot of mixed capes. =)

I am submitting this on behalf of my daughter. She wanted me to create an account for her just so she could enter this picture but I thought y'all might allow it. This is her personal bog comprised of plants that she demanded, I mean requested, from me. We have S. 'Judith Hindle ', S. purpurea venosa, S. psittacina, Drosera intermedia, Drosera binata 'Marston Dragon, Drosera filiformis 'Dreamcicle', Drosera filiformis tracyii, and of course, a bunch of flytraps.

Yes, we worked on it together. She is 14 so she had some very definite opinions on what should and should not be included.
