the Genus always has its first letter capitalized while the species has its first letter low-caps unless it is a hybrid
Tillandsia bulbosa is correct
hybrids on the other hand, are named like this:
Sarracenia 'Scarlet Belle'
Question to all growers:
how is "x" used?
say, P. x Sethos?

Thanks!
Well when I was in 8th grade I had 2 cp's (nepenthes and d. spatulata) but when those died I decided not to get any more Carnivorous plants. I was still caring for many other plants. Jump forward about 5 or 6 years.... I got a pot full of multiple little sundews and two scarlet belle's in June and my collection basically began then. It wasn't to hard for me to care for them and learn about them (though I've spent more time on research then regular life it's so addicting). Your list will soon grow like crazy too, and not only with carnivorous plants!
What about you, how long have you been with this wallet draining hobby?
