Added 8 new Tuberous Drosera species! :D

Crossed off a couple plants that did not survive my move into our first house. I need to 'clean up' the Pygmy list as well as I lost a great deal of them as well...

Awesome grow list! In the third post, what is the moss that your Ceph “Norma” is growing in?

Sorry about your pygmy losses. I've been impressed by your pygmy collection for a while and been thinking about asking you how you maintain them. I find them to be a challenge, although I do manage to keep a few alive, they do not do well for me.

Its some form of carpet moss that almost all plants I've received from California Carnivores have when they arrive... It soaks up huge amounts of water and eventually pushes the plants out of the pots...

I will rebuild, it happens...

Temps no higher than 80°f max (I would shoot for 75°). Temp drops at night to ~65°, or lower. Watered by tray method, let tray dry out for a couple days before refilling. I was using 6in tall pots, but I'm going to go back to 3-5in tall pots. Soil is around 2:1 sand:peat.

I'll have to try that. I keep mine much wetter, 3" pots and summer temps get close to 90. I don't know if its practical for me to keep the temps down that much here with what I can manage, but I can lower the wetness. Thanks for the response.

Updated the list, it's getting long, still need to cross out the pygmies I lost, but don't have the willpower to do it...

Started striking the pygmies I lost, in the move, as I began my gemmae planting for the year. Sorry folks, not selling this year as I've decided to build up stock. Starting 4 pots of each kind I get gammae from and hopefully they'll all make it to next year. A lot of my mother plants are multiple years only and getting a little Haggard...

Soooo I finally went through the pygmies... :(

Not all the survivors made gemmae for me but for the ones that did, I planted All. Of. It.

20 species/locations/hybrids - 4 pots of each species - each pot 4-20 gemmae.
