It's an old pic and the plant is long gone. Like most aloes, this species looks like something you were glad you didn't step on. It's stringier than your typical household sooth-the-burn aloe and far less pretty. A quick Google image search will show you all.

They only got a couple inches tall and didn’t flower. Surprisingly, they are still green, even while being covered in snow.

They may survive. Had some make it through one or two Michigan winters ... and then there were all the babies ....lots and lots of babies ......

I very rarely get fruit off this one but ones I pot up do fruit almost every year.

I sometimes get seeds but most often propagate this one from adventitious shoots from the rambling rhizomes.
