I was growing this mysterious Sarracenia for a few weeks and I was excited to see its growth points turn into pitchers. Unfortunately, I think they turned into phyllodia instead?

Will I have to wait until next spring to see its pitchers? I heard that some Sarracenia species create phyllodia during summer but I don't know how true this is.

Yes, those are phyllodia. If it's summer where you are go ahead and move it into a brighter area, if not leave it be.

Definitely phyllodia, and yes if the plant is in the northern hemisphere and in dormancy conditions you will have to wait till spring for pitchers. Generally speaking Oreophila and sometimes Flava make phyllodia in summer.
