Is my vft dead??

My plant was healthy until three days ago. I had fed it a fly and everything was cool and nice with it. But two days ago I saw that all its traps were closed

I thought that it was shocked because of the sudden cold produced by the air conditioner, so today I put it in a jar, put on the lid, and left it in sun. But four hours later I came back, and what I saw was not what I thought I'd see

Now I'm really worried about it. Is it dead?? Please help. I don't want to lose it

Oh no! Putting any plant in a closed container in full sun will fairly quickly cook the plant. So sorry!

The good news is that the rhizome is likely fine, so the plant will grow back.

Any guess why all the traps closed suddenly??
