Hello all,
I just received a drosera adelae in the mail after a week long wait,a 5 day delay.
It smelled really bad once I opened it,but there is no noticable mold or mildew anywhere on the plant.I placed it on my windowsill today inside of a sealed ziploc bag,but here it is outside of it: Is It dead?by the looks of it,there is no green growth,and the package was very hot when I brought it in(it was 90 degrees outside).Could the heat have killed it?
If you guys know if this is an extreme case of shipping stress,or it is just plain dead?

That D. Adelae is definitely dead... You might want to ask for a refund.
D. Adelae is a finicky plant (in my experience) and can die pretty easily.
A tip when it comes to buying finicky/exspensive plants; buy from a trusted seller.
You probably don't want to waste money on an Ebay seller...

Oh yeah,I bought from neither.I actually bought from an FTC forum user...I guess I'll ask him for a replacement

I have shipped many of these $5 Adelae without issue. They are well packaged. Keep in mind there was a 5 day delay and if it was sitting outside in 90 degree weather that doesn’t help either. I’m not responsible for what happens during shipping. On the other hand, I’m not going to leave Max hanging. I’m offering him a replacement for free. All he has to do is pay for shipping.
