My VFTs are waking up and each trap is bigger than the previous one. Most of the small decisions produce larger traps than before. The main plant started producing smaller traps but they are getting larger one after the other. There are some weird traps that look like they got damaged by spider mites but there are only 1 or 2 and the newest growth looks very healthy. Also I don’t see any mites or webs. I think it is because they got a bit sunburned. Anyway I think they will grow A LOT in the new pot. I can’t wait to see them fill the pot with traps all over it

Today I saw a small dark green aphid without wings on a trap and then squished it. There might be some aphids on the plants so I should check it. If there are aphids what should I do? Should I kill as much as I can by hand and then submerge the plants again? Or should I do something else?

Now that I saw the pictures again, The same aphid was in the exact spot from yesterday. It didn’t move at all. So it was probably dead.
