Hi
I posted here awhile ago about dying Venus Flytrap. I went to the trouble of uprooting one of the babies to inspect the rhizome and the roots. There was no a hint of green on the crown at all. I left this poor baby out long enough for the roots to dry up. I thought- what the hey- and planted it again. Today, I noticed green shoots coming up! Amazing!

It's neat to see how much nutrients and energy is stored in the rhizome. After seeing what pullings strike from, I wasn't hesitant to prune damaged leaves.
