1. I just my new plants from a mystery box, but ive noticed that on one plant, almost all the leaves are turning black! some traps are turning black on other plants too. my B52s biggest trap is also turning black, but it looked old anyways. i was wondering if it could be my dehumidifier water. the meter reads 20 ppm but the water smells ( and tastes) really weird. should i switch water? there is this water station in a grocery store that offers reverse osmosis water for only 30 cents a gallon, but at the end of the stage, there is this carbon filter ( i think its a filter) that says it adds taste. i tested it and it also read 20 ppm. are both of these waters safe? and also, does it matter if the dehumidifier water smell weird? could it be killing my plants?

also, i recently switched off distilled water which had 0 ppm. could the added 20 ppm from the other waters affect the plants?

Use the RO water

and just give those plants time :) any new shoots or growth on these plants ?

I very much doubt 20 PPM would have any effect look for another reason that you think might be effecting your plants

And remember a picture tells a thousand words (Fred R. Barnard) lol

It could be that they are just adjusting and losing a few leaves (this is normal) or it could be that there is something in the water that they don't like. There isn't any way to know for sure. If you're really worried about it, I'd switch to using distilled water.

with all of my plants, the price for distilled water is a little pricy. i dont think i will be using the dehumidifier water. what about the water station? can the carbon hurt the plants even with only 20 ppm?
